Industry partnerships play a key role at Bell and give the students the chance to work on real engineering problems. These projects allow students to:

• Apply technical knowledge to an open-ended problem.
• Learn teamwork skills.
• Gain a better understanding of engineering in industry.

These projects are typically one semester long and are usually equivalent to what a single engineer in industry can do in two weeks. Students are assigned the project at the beginning of the semester and go through multiple design iterations before presenting a final design to their client.
