Majors and Focuses

Iron Range Engineering offers a Bachelors of Science in Engineering (BSE). All students major in Integrated Engineering -- meaning they take coursework in engineering fields like mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as cross-cutting coursework in areas like programming, entrepreneurship, systems engineering, design, and professionalism.
Integrated Engineers work across discipline boundaries to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions. They gain knowledge and skills from traditional engineering disciplines while creating connections and value.
All Iron Range Engineering graduates earn a Bachelors of Science in Engineering (BSE) and major in Integrated Engineering. Students can also earn a narrow focus in various engineering disciplines by completing relevant coursework and project or industry work.
