Bell AcademyThe Bell Academy is a one-semester experience that serves as a bridge between your community college pre-engineering work and your industry and co-op experience. Student engineers in the Bell Academy take technical coursework, work on industry-supported design projects, participate in professionalism workshops, and get customized career development support.

Co-opStudent Engineers at IRE work in co-ops and internships during their junior and senior years. These internships and co-ops are with engineering companies across the country in a variety of industries. Students earn credit for the work they are doing on co-op while taking their technical courses in the evenings -- leading to a Bachelor of Science in Engineering through Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Bell Academy and Co-Op ExperienceStudents that in the Bell Academy and working on co-op during their junior and senior years are enrolled through Minnesota State University, Mankato. After completion of their technical, design, and professionalism coursework, they earn a B.S. in Engineering (BSE).
